Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma is a wonderful place to live and work. The Sault has a population of approximately 75,000 and is located on the St. Mary's River, which joins Lake Superior to Lake Huron. The Soo is known for it's historic locks, and surrounding natural environment. Sault Ste. Marie is a border city, joined to Sault Ste. Marie Michigan by an International Bridge which marks the beginning of the I-75 Interstate Highway. If driving, we are located approximately 3.5 hrs from Sudbury to the East, 8 hrs from Thunder Bay to the West, and 6 hrs from Detroit/Windsor to the South.
If you are an outdoor enthusiast the Algoma district offers plenty of opportunities for hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking and more, within just minutes from your home or workplace.
